Yesterday, I spent the day in Las Cruces attending the 57th New Mexico Water Conference. Titled “Hard Choices,” the conference was hosted by New Mexico State University and Sen. Tom Udall, D-NM.
You can listen to or read the report I filed from the conference at: http://kunm.org/post/new-mexicos-hard-choices
And below, you can listen to the full interview with Sen. Udall. Perhaps you’re interested to know what Sen. Udall learned about for the first time at the conference? (Here’s a hint: It has to do with dry riverbeds and the Rio Grande.)
Water is key to our ecomomic viability and a healthy ecosystem – Senator Tom Udall should be thanked for taking on this issue.
